PicoRaptor is Ironwood’s rigid pin ATE production test contactor that uses a single elastomer for high electrical performance, high insertion count, and ease of rebuild. Designed for Analog, RF, and MMWave device testing in automated test environments.
PicoRaptor pairs a rigid BeCu-NiAu pin with a P elastomer for firm contact to both load board and tip, with a wipe action and Ironwood’s Advanced Contact Finish (ACF) keeping resistance stable by minimising solder migration off contact tips. Available in 1mm (PicoRaptor-1) and 2mm (PicoRaptor-2) lengths down to 0.30mm pitch in a laminated Cirlex® Polyimide cartridge within a Torlon 5030 frame, with PicoRaptor-2 delivering higher cycle counts and lower gram force for fine-pitch production work.
Overview
PicoRaptor is built for high-volume ATE production testing of Analog, RF, and MMWave devices, where contact resistance stability, long cycle life, and ease of maintenance are the primary selection criteria. Rigid BeCu–NiAu pins sit in a laminated Cirlex® polyimide cartridge within a Torlon 5030 (or equivalent) frame.
