Q Switch
- Fischer Lines 24
- BNC Outputs 8
- Bandwidth >5 MHz
- Isolation Soft-grounded
- Control USB, LAN
- Chaining QDAC-II, cables
Q Switch is Quantum Machines’ software-controlled breakout box, connecting any of 24 Fischer lines to their fixed output or a shared BNC connector for monitoring and control.
It replaces manual cable swapping between experiment setups with a single programmable interface, so a full measurement sequence can be pre-programmed and run from a script rather than rewired by hand between runs. Built-in soft-grounding through 1 MΩ resistors protects signal lines during power disruptions, and the box connects to QDAC-II and the fridge wiring through two low-noise Fischer cables for a combined routing and voltage-source stack.
Overview
Q Switch is Quantum Machines’ software-controlled signal routing box, connecting any of 24 Fischer lines to their fixed output or to a shared BNC connector for monitoring. It replaces manual cable swapping between setups with a single programmable interface, so experiment sequences run without a hand on the bench.
