QFilter-II Compact
- Signal Lines Up to 24
- Filter Stages 2 banks
- Low-Freq Cutoff 65 kHz
- RF Cutoff 225 MHz
- Isolation >10 GΩ
- Material Gold-coated copper
QFilter-II Compact is a multi-stage cryogenic microwave filter, a low-pass design that rejects electrical noise and holds millikelvin electron temperatures across up to 24 signal lines.
It runs two filtering banks in series, a low-frequency RC bank cutting off around 65 kHz and a radio-frequency LC bank around 225 MHz, each built from individually shielded stages. Together they attenuate microwave and RF noise on DC and low-frequency lines. Signal lines carry up to 150 V with isolation above 10 GΩ to ground below 4 K, and the compact, non-magnetic housing mounts directly on a cryostat’s mixing chamber plate. Multiple units stack in series to scale to 48 lines and beyond when a setup needs more channels.
Overview
QFilter-II Compact is Quantum Machines’ cryogenic microwave filter, a multi-stage low-pass design built to reject electrical noise and hold millikelvin electron temperatures across up to 24 signal lines. It mounts directly on a cryostat’s mixing chamber plate, shielding sensitive quantum electronics from noise that ordinary wiring carries in.
