QBoard-II
- Qubit Capacity Up to 8
- RF Lines 16, to 8 GHz
- RC Lines 48 low-frequency
- Material Non-magnetic
- Sample Space 60 mm
- Mounting Parallel/perpendicular
QBoard-II is Quantum Machines’ modular, PCB-based cryogenic microwave sample holder for low-temperature spin-qubit chips, superconducting circuits, and general transport experiments.
Its 16 high-density RF lines and 48 low-frequency RC lines transmit from DC to 8 GHz, enough for processors with up to 8 spin qubits, while an updated PCB and interposer design cuts crosstalk compared to the original QBoard. Sample chips wire-bond onto an exchangeable daughterboard in one of three sizes, protected by a new shielding lid, and the whole assembly fits a 60 mm sample space in either horizontal or vertical mounting.
Overview
QBoard-II is Quantum Machines’ modular, PCB-based cryogenic microwave sample holder for low-temperature spin-qubit chips, superconducting circuits, and general transport experiments. It replaces the time spent designing and manufacturing a custom chip carrier, letting labs focus on the qubit chip itself across fast characterization runs and complex microwave experiments alike.
