QCage
- Variants QCage.24, QCage.64
- Qubit Capacity Up to 30
- Frequency Range Up to 18 GHz
- Enclosure EMC-tight
- Shielding Optional mu-metal
- Mounting Puck or fridge
QCage is Quantum Machines’ cryogenic microwave chip carrier and sample holder for resonator-based quantum devices, packaging the chip in a low-loss cavity for minimal decoherence.
QCage.24 fits most sample loader pucks or mounts directly into a fridge, carrying 24 embedded coplanar transmission lines for up to 10 qubits with resonance-free transmission to 18 GHz. QCage.64 scales that same low-loss design to 64 transmission lines and up to 30 qubits. Both variants sit inside an EMC-tight superconducting enclosure with an internal flux biasing magnet, and both are available pre-integrated into Bluefors cryostat systems.
Overview
QCage is Quantum Machines’ cryogenic microwave chip carrier for resonator-based quantum devices, available in a compact QCage.24 and an upscaled QCage.64 for larger processors. Both enclose the chip in a low-loss cavity with embedded coplanar transmission lines, keeping resonance-free signal transmission and minimal decoherence at the chip level.
