FAQs - Temperature Forcing System
What temperatures can the instrument reach and how much time will it need to reach -45C from ambient temperature?
The equipment has a temperature range of -100 to +250C and takes ten to fifteen seconds to go from negative to positive temperature and vice versa.
What are the dimensions of the thermal cap available? Do you have larger enclosures that can accommodate complete boards?
We have circular thermal caps with multiple internal dimensions ranging from 2.5 inch to 5.5 inch and have rectangular hood and clamp style chambers which can accommodate large boards.
How do you prevent frost formation on the setup?
The thermostream uses Clean Dry air as input hence the air coming from the nozzle is free of frost. The setup is covered by our Tcap which has an exhaust for air to go out. We can attach a hose to direct the air away from your board to prevent condensation.
What are the facility requirements for the thermostream?
The thermostream works on single phase power and will need an external air compressor along with an Air Dryer.
Can we control the equipment through ATE or computers?
Yes, the thermostream offers remote interface options via RS232, GPIB and USB and comes with a manual which has necessary commands.
How do we move around the equipment to different parts of the lab?
The instrument is ergonomic and comes with castor wheels to enable you to move the equipment internally across different setups.
What are the delivery timelines?
The delivery is usually within 3 to 4 weeks after placing the order.
Do you help in installation and aftersales?
Yes. We provide the complete training and installation. Post warranty period one can enter into an AMC contract for calibration preventive maintenance and breakdown services.
